Learn the padel shapes

Padel rackets come in three core shapes. Slide to see which one suits your game.

Intermediate → Advanced
The all-rounder. Power and control in one frame.

The most popular shape in padel — and what most pros play. Balance sits in the middle, with a sweet spot slightly above centre. You get more pop than a round frame without giving up much control, which makes it the safest upgrade from a beginner racket.

Tacky
Normal / cool conditions
Sticky feel keeps the racket glued to your hand with minimal grip pressure.
Perforated
Humid weather / sweaty hands
Tiny laser-cut holes drain moisture away from the surface to prevent slipping.
Comfort / Plush
Vibration dampening
Thicker material cushions the hand and absorbs shock from heavy smashes.

Customise & refresh
The thin layer you customise with.

A thin, stretchy, non-adhesive tape wrapped on top of your replacement grip. Padel rackets only come in one factory size, so overgrips are essentially mandatory — they let you tune thickness, soak up sweat and add tackiness. Most players run 1–3 of them and swap them every few matches.
